June 2, 2011 - Teo Graca begins work on a new Acid Jazz album - "Bass Slapper".

With his last 2005 release "The Fisher Prince", this new album represents the first new musical venture in many years. Plans include creating new samples from District Authority members Paul Battista, Marshall Hughey and Mark Congdon to include on some of the new music on this album.

The first two compositions "Shama" and "Don't Be 'Fraid" have already been released on rMusic (CLICK HERE for Samples). The album is focused on the Acid Jazz style of music - a currently popular, yet underserved segment of the music industry.

Teo Graca has been writing and producing music most of his life. He formally studied music in college was quoted early in his career as saying "Most music is so rhythmically boring, my goal is to do something different." Most of his music demonstrates just that.

Although he began his career as a professional bassist for bands in the Mid-Atlantic area, he also worked directly with the administrative side of record and publishing companies and learned what works best in the music industry. Teo still works with some musicians to help move them forward with their careers, but is primarily an information architect for large and small businesses designing, managing and building web applications.

He has also produced videos and music for the film and television industry and makes himself available occasionally for film and video projects as time allows. If you are interested in music or video production, contact Teo directly about your project.
