March 21, 2003 - Billion Dollar Films Launched.

Billion Dollar Films has launched a new film production company with a large library of public domain film, which can be used in projects.

This effort was originally conceived back in 1991 by Teo Graca where he would collect public domain (PD) film, shorten the films into what used to be called "bumpers" for broadcast television, add original modern music and market them as new and original works Internationally for use as PSA's and commercials.

Since then, the Internet was born (1994) making Interntional broadcasting a simple matter of publishing a web site. We had begun work in 1996 promoting a new concept of publishing this type of work on the Internet, but the technology and bandwidth was not up to par. Finally this year, we found funding and have moved this effort forward to catalog our extensive collection of public domain films.

"The market for us is viral videos" says Samual Morse, CEO of Billion Dollar Films. Almost a dozen years later, the new company has established major connections with the music and film industries in America and Europe, and has created one of the largest collections of PD film available today.
